1. Agreement to Terms

Welcome to DentistNearMeDubai. These Terms of Use ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and DentistNearMeDubai governing your access to and use of our dental clinic directory and booking platform (the "Platform").

By accessing or using our Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Platform.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates, including but not limited to UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 14/2023 on E-Commerce and UAE Federal Law No. 15/2020 on Consumer Protection.

2. Platform Description and Role

DentistNearMeDubai operates as an intermediary platform that connects patients with dental clinics. We provide:

• A directory of dental clinics and practitioners in the UAE
• Clinic search and comparison tools
• Online appointment booking services
• Patient reviews and ratings
• General dental health information

Important Clarifications:

• We are NOT a dental clinic and do NOT provide dental services
• We are NOT a party to any agreement between you and dental clinics
• We do NOT provide medical or dental advice
• We do NOT guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of dental services provided by clinics

3. User Eligibility and Accounts

3.1 Eligibility

To use our Platform, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age (or have parental/guardian consent)
• Have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts
• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Comply with these Terms and all applicable laws

3.2 Account Responsibilities

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• You may not share your account or allow others to access it
• You may only maintain one account per person

4. Booking Terms and Conditions

4.1 Appointment Bookings

• Bookings made through our Platform are subject to clinic availability and confirmation
• A booking request does not guarantee an appointment until confirmed by the clinic
• You agree to provide accurate contact information for booking communications

4.2 Cancellation and Rescheduling

• Cancellation and rescheduling policies are determined by individual clinics
• You should review the clinic's specific policies before booking
• We encourage providing at least 24 hours notice for cancellations
• Repeated no-shows may result in account restrictions

4.3 Clinic Relationship

Your relationship with the dental clinic is independent of your relationship with us. We are not responsible for:

• The quality or outcome of dental services provided
• Clinic policies, fees, or billing practices
• Any disputes between you and the clinic
• Clinic availability or scheduling changes

5. User Conduct and Obligations

When using our Platform, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Use the Platform only for lawful purposes
• Respect the rights of other users and clinics
• Not engage in fraudulent or deceptive activities
• Not interfere with the proper functioning of the Platform

6. User-Generated Content

6.1 Reviews and Ratings

When submitting reviews or ratings, you:

• Represent that your review is based on genuine personal experience
• Agree to provide honest and accurate feedback
• Grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content
• Retain ownership of your original content

6.2 Content Standards

User content must not:

• Contain false, misleading, or defamatory statements
• Violate the privacy rights of others
• Contain offensive, discriminatory, or inappropriate material
• Violate UAE cultural norms or Islamic values
• Infringe upon intellectual property rights

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, and software, are the exclusive property of DentistNearMeDubai or its licensors and are protected by UAE and international intellectual property laws.

You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute Platform content without permission
• Use our trademarks or branding without authorization
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
• Use automated tools to scrape or collect data from the Platform

8. Disclaimers

8.1 Service Disclaimer

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

8.2 Medical Disclaimer

Information provided on our Platform is for general informational purposes only and does not constitute medical or dental advice. Always consult with a qualified dental professional for diagnosis and treatment.

8.3 Third-Party Disclaimer

We do not endorse, guarantee, or assume responsibility for any dental clinic, practitioner, or service listed on our Platform. Clinic information and ratings are provided for informational purposes only.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY UAE LAW:

• We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim
• We are not liable for damages arising from your use of third-party dental services
• We are not liable for platform unavailability due to maintenance or circumstances beyond our control

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless DentistNearMeDubai, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the Platform
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Your user-generated content
• Any disputes between you and dental clinics

11. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms or our policies
• Engage in fraudulent or illegal activities
• Repeatedly miss scheduled appointments
• Abuse or harass clinic staff or other users

12. Dispute Resolution

12.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. The courts of Dubai shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes.

12.2 Informal Resolution

13. Consumer Protection Rights

In accordance with UAE Federal Law No. 15/2020 on Consumer Protection, you have the right to:

• Receive clear and accurate information about our services
• Protection from misleading or deceptive practices

• File complaints with the UAE Consumer Protection Department

14. Modifications to Terms
